一课时 教学目标：
1、能够听、说、读、写单词或短语：hospital、 cinema、 post office、 bookstore、science museum、library
2、能够询问路线并作简单回答的句型：“Where is the library? It’s near
the post office.
3、能够理解并会吟唱Let’s chant的歌谣。
教学重点 ：
1、掌握Let’s learn部分的四会单词和短语。
2、掌握询问路线的句型。
教学难点 ：
1、正确书写四会单词。
2、掌握三会单词museum的发音。
教学 准备: : 教学挂图、教材配套录音、单词卡片、单词图片及一只玩具兔。
教学步骤: :
1 1 、 Warm- - up
Greeting with the students: How are you?
Glad to meet you!
2 2 、 Preview
（1）师出示已学单词图片，师生进行如下问答：
T：Where is the trash bin?
S1: It’s near the table.
T：Where is the picture?
S3：It’s ….
（2）师示意学生合上双眼，把书藏于书桌里，学生睁开眼后，师对学生说:(配合动作表情)I can’t find my book/pen. Where is it? Can you see it?
S1: Oh, it’s in my desk.
T: Oh, yes. Thank you. ……
（3）将全班学生分成两大组，每组轮流派一位代表到讲台前来放置玩具兔。要求两名代表面对面站立，其中一生对另一生发指令：“The rabbit is in front of me.”该生听后将玩具兔放到该学生面前，发对指令和放对位置各得一分。要求学生交换发指令而且不能发相同的指令，最后得分高的那一组获胜。
3 3 、 Presentation
（1）“请你猜猜”活动：呈现新单词
师课前在黑板上画一个框，反面贴上单词卡片：hospital、post office、bookstore、cinema、zoo、park、library、school，每张卡片的背面都写着数字。教师指着其中一张卡片说：“Now I am in No.1.Please guess what place it is？Is it a zoo/school/park…?”通过猜词师呈现新词“cinema ”。教师示范朗读，学生跟读。
教师带领学生拼读并板书“cinema”。
师说：“No.3 is a cinema .We can see a film in the cinema. ”“I want to post the letter. Shall I go to the cinema? Where shall I go? Yes! Post office.”师继续利用黑板上的卡片让学生猜：“Is it a post office?”领读“post office”。师指着黑板上“post office”的位置说：“Look at the map. The post office is here.”然后问：“Where is the post office in our town?”让学生根据实际情况回答。
师突然做出不舒服的样子说：“I’m not feeling well. Where shall I go?”根据学生的回答出示单词卡片“hospital”，带领学生读单词、拼单词，师板书该
词。接着教师询问：“Where is the hospital in our town? Is it far? Can I go by bus/taxi/on foot?” 师先出示前面重点呈现的三张单词卡片，请学生认读，趁他们不注意的时候再加上一张，让学生猜刚才加上的那张卡片是什么，教学“science museum”。提醒学生注意“museum”的发音，并可以适当拓展，如出示天安门广场两面侧的历史博物馆、军事博物馆等图片。
教师拿出一本学生喜欢看的新书说：“I have a new book. I bought it in Inhuman Bookstore. We can books in the bookstore.”教学“bookstore”。教师出示单词卡片，领读并板书。师可以告诉学生：“We can buy books in a supermarket/mall, because there are some small bookstores in the supermarket or mall.”这里只要让学生感知mall或 shopping mall即可,目的是为学习本单元的Let’s sing做铺垫。
（2)认认地图---操练新单词：
师再一次利用黑板上的“地图”让学生进行连锁操练，例如：“A：Where is the bookstore? B: It’s near the hospital.”师先做好示范，并注意及时巩固前面所学的词汇。
（3）师放A部分“Let’s learn”的录音，学生跟读。教师示范书写四会单词，让学生在学生卡片背面的灰体词上描红，以达到听、说、读、写四会掌握生词的目的。
(4)Let’s
start:出示该部分教学挂图，请学生看图读一读、连一连。
(5)Let’s
chant：利用Let’s
chant的录音，学生听录音、跟唱歌谣。并请学生重点读单词next和句子“Go straight ahead.”并注意纠正其发音。不必在语意上多做解释，这部分主要目的是为下一课做铺垫。
4 4 、 Practice:
“ 小小设计师 ” 活动
先带领学生认读六个表示场所的单词或短语：“library、cinema、 hospital、science museum、post office、bookstore”，接着告诉学生：“现在你们都是城市设计师，请大家设计一张地图，设计之后会有记者来采访。”让学生利用单词卡片设计城市规划图，并在班级里选几名学生充当小记者去采访“设计师”，逐个提问：“Where is the hospital/…?”由“设计师”来回答问题。
5 5 、 Consolidation
（1）学生做A Let’s learn部分的活动手册配套练习。
（2）学生背诵并抄写本课时的四会单词。
6 6、 、 Homework ：
利用自己设计街区图画试写几句话。如：“I am near the library. I am not in the hospital. The bookstore is in front of me. Where am I？”建议学生运用near、in front of 、behind等表述。
